The Company, originally founded in 1923 as Burton Realty by Burt Wishnev, a local Real Estate Broker was once dubbed “The Busiest Office in the Northeast”. Over nearly a century, the Company continued to grow and has only changed ownership once until the current owners took over in 2007, as the second owner, Morris Powers, retired. In the fall of 2007 after modernization and an extensive systems upgrade, Burton Realty was renamed Anchor Realty Northeast. The current owners continue to expand the Company and are working to position it as a leading property management and sales organization in the Cities of Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and the surrounding counties.
